Job Description

• To plan, organize and manage the engineering activities to achieve optimum process, cost, quality, safety, inventory, timely delivery and customer satisfaction. To lead/coach a team of section head/engineerings/executive in their skill/knowledge development to contribute effectively towards company's quality policy, goals and growth.
• To initiate, introduce, develop and implement continuous improvement programme such as QCC, cost reduction, process capabilities, yield, efficiencies, etc. To liaise on related matters with relevant departments and customers where required.
• To established and maintain high housekeeping standard including maintaining the production line in optimum condition and review further improvements periodically. Responsible for developing staff competencies through effective training, communication and motivation.
• To organize trouble shooting on major problems encounter and implement process changes and improvements where necessary.  Responsible for precious metal and chemical consumption and control.
• To plan develop and implement company's policies and procedures to ensure consistency of application.  
• To execute other duties as defined by the superior.

Job Requirement

• Degree holder in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering/Engineering/Manufacturing, minimum 7 years expeience with a proven track record in a semiconductor environment (leadframe plating will be a definite plus).
• Fundamental working knowledge in statistical and analytical application such as 8D, DOE, FMEA and relevant quality tools.
• Possess strong technical acumen, excellent interpersonal skills and effective analytical rpoblelm solving skills.
• A result oriented person with excellent drive, initiative and the ability to work under tight datelines. Salary RM8,000.00 to RM12,000.00 neg.
