Job Description

Provide leadership in all aspects of finance.  This includes treasury, taxation, financial planning, capital expenditure controls, budgetary controls, internal controls, audit and risk management.

Assist General Manager and Corporate Office in analyzing financial performance and growth opportunities as well as to develop mid and long term strategy and objectives for the company.

Establishes and maintain effective relationships with bankers, auditors, lawyers, tax, custom and other relevant government bodies/offices.

Ensure compliance of corporate policies as well as statutory requirements.

Ensure sound internal controls and accounting system.

Ensure accuracy and integrity  of financial reporting, cash flow analysis, forecasting and budgeting.

Direct and manage the preparation of management reporting and analytical information to management and corporate office.

Identify, assess, mitigate and monitor significant risks.

Review business process and costing as well as drive cost reduction programs.. Other duties as directed.

 

Job Requirement

Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification such as ACCA/CPA/MBA is an added advantage.

At least 8 years relevant working experience with at least 5 years at managerial level and familiar with accounting standards, tax and finance.

Strong leadership and management skills.  Able to communicate effectively with all levels.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.  Ability to work in an environment requiring strong discipline and attention to details.

Work effectively under stressful situations and familiar with MNC manufacturing environment, preferably semi-conductor industry.

Stationed in Melaka, Malaysia, salary RM13,000.00 to RM15,000.00 neg.
