Job Description

• To meet the company objectives for Roofing Services & assist the manager to implement business policies & strategies.
• Manage a team of site executives and subcontractors.
• Ensure that projects are implemented according to schedule and the quality of our services meets or exceed our customers' expectations.
• Inventory management - ensure that optimal levels of stocks are delivered and used.
• Minimize wastages and consignment stock.
• Continuously look for and implement best practices for the Roofing Services business.
• Conduct regular meetings with contractors, developers, project managers and site workers to ensure that everyone is updated.
• Attend to complaints promptly and work with all relevant parties to come up with solutions to problems.
• Ensure that we conform to the Health & Safety guidelines set by the company.
• Provide pre-sales support by studying building plans & calculating the roofing requirements of our potential customers.
• Record Management & Reports - records are to be kept up to date & management reports are to be prepared regularly.
• Do site inspections and Quality Audits to ensure that our work meet the standards set by the company

Job Requirement

 

• Degree in Business, Civil Engineering, Construction or Building related discipline.
• With 6 years working experience with at least 2 years of site experience
• Excellent people skills and able to deal with people of all levels, from site workers to CEOs.
• The individual must be solution-driven, organized, proactive, meticulous, supportive and have good problem solving skills.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, BM, Mandarin & Chinese dialects.
• Willing to spend more than 40% of the time at the site.
• Working knowledge of project management and ISO processes will be an added advantage.
• This position is based in KL but the individual will be required to travel out of town from time to time.
