Job Summary

To develop and market new and existing services of the company and to ensure projects secured are executed to the highest standards of the company. This is carried out by understanding the client’s needs and to convey their requirements to the operations department for both design, and execution of the successful completion of the project.  To meet the annual sales target set, and to ensure the X2 brand is continually enhanced through its projects in the eyes of its clients and the general public.

Summary of essential job functions

  • Ensure Sales and Margin target are met
    • Develop and execute annual sales plans
    • Develop and grow a ‘repeat clientele’ base
    • Develop new clients to marketing of services to new business companies/sectors
  • Manage the administrative sales activities including but not limited to the following;
    • Maintain an accurate database of call reports
    • Ensure sales administrative procedures are followed including appropriate approvals for quotations with project terms and conditions
    • Internal reporting of sales and marketing activity through a monthly report
  • New Business Development
    • Develop new business concepts/services that is able to leverage on the existing assets of the team including – client base, project capability and resources, and the X2 brand
  • Project management including but not limited to the following;
    • Client liaison – prior to project confirmation, during project development, during project execution and post project execution
    • Operations liaison – liaise with internal teams to ensure project is executed successfully meeting or exceeding the customer’s expectations
    • Manage and monitor the costings of each project to ensure target margins are achieved

 

  • General Management
    • Develop and manage annual budget including sales revenue targets and department expenses
    • Manage Sales and Marketing team to deliver of the department’s annual targets whilst up keeping the Values and Visions of the company
    • Execute the performance management process within the business development department

Minimum requirements

  • Degree holder
  • Minimum 5 years in Sales and Marketing in the service field with at least 2 years with managerial experience
  • Good verbal and written command of English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Experienced in Interior Design field an advantage
